  • To maintain a safe environment, Second Harvest Food Bank would prefer that toddlers and young children not be in the warehouse. Second Harvest Food Bank recognizes that is not always possible; therefore, we respectfully request that no children be left unattended and prefer the children be in strollers.
  • No running in the warehouse.
  • Do not climb on racking or step on pallets. If there is something that is out of your reach, please get a warehouse staff member to assist you.
  • Do not tilt over large totes, due to the possibility of the tote falling over on you.
  • If you pick up an item that is leaking, please notify a staff person immediately.
  • For safety reasons, we must ask that no more than one shopper and two helpers be allowed to shop for one agency at a time.
  • Please do not bring open drinks and food into the warehouse.
  • If you must eat or drink, please utilize the break room and clean up after yourself.
  • Do not open food products from the warehouse, we have a vending machine in the break room.

  • When shopping, please keep all products separate. For example, keep all drinks together, all breakfast foods together, etc. Check out will be a lot faster!
